Boho Decor Makeover - A Dixie Belle Silk Paint Tutorial

Prickly Pear makeover?! Yes please! I was out thrifting for furniture when I found the most ornate candle holders, vintage and all I could do was dream of PINK!
Products Needed
Prickly Pear (Available at your local Dixie Belle retailer only)
The set of two plastic wall decor were screaming to be bright and bold. Want to join me for the makeover? Let's begin!
Clean the decor with White Lightning. This is my go to product to remove grime and oils from whatever I am painting! It works on all surfaces.
The color choice today is Prickly Pear, a new Silk All In One paint from Dixie Belle. This is just one of the ten new bold colors released this month.
I applied two even coats of Prickly Pear, allowing two hours of dry time in between.
After the paint is dry I wanted to add some depth to the details. I applied Dixie Belle Best Dang Wax in Black, sprayed with water and wiped back. This allows the dark wax to sit in the grooves.
I gently added some Chameleon Wax in Lilac to the edges for a touch of shine!
And the makeover is complete! Check out the boho wall decor now! I hung them on the black and white striped wall and admired the new color. Such a simple one day flip. You can shop all of your Dixie Belle paint products here.

Thanks for joining me on my painting journey!
